have an opening for a Graphic Designer in Vancouver, BC.
The Graphic Designer will work on a variety of projects including the
creation of brochures, ads, booth graphics, retractors, posters, the
design of websites, and the creation of various online marketing
campaign elements such as HTML emails, banner ads and flash animation by
working closely together with the Creative Director and the Copywriters
on all aspects of design.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a graphic environment, minimum of 3 years experience
- Ability to develop and execute strong graphic design concepts
- A passion for design and the ability to relay this passion to the company
- Strong conceptual skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Highly proficient in PC environment, and possess advanced skills in Adobe Creative CS5 Master Collection, HTML, MS Office
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and willing to adapt design ideas to meet technical criteria and to support the company brand
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively to tight deadlines
- A team player that enjoys working alongside colleagues
- Hand drawing skills would be considered an asset
