Dear Reform,

I am a second year BA Graphic Design Undergraduate student at Leeds College of Art. I would like the opportunity to work with you on a short time placement over the summer.

I am very interested in editorial design and I discovered your website which drew me in with its personal touch and welcoming language.

My own style is very type based but I do have a sense of image, as type is a recent favorite. I am able to use the relevant software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, After Effects, Quark and Dreamweaver.

I am able to work to client’s specifications, combining creativity with a respect for a given brief. As a student I have also undertaken collaborative briefs and am a good team player. I recently submitted an entry to the YCN as part of a collaborative brief and a solo piece to D&AD.

I want to work in Manchester, I have always loved the city and it is defiantly the main place for Graphic design so the location and environment of Reform is also very ANTONYMS.

I would be more then happy to meet with you at any time that is convenient to you and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards

Emma Cooper

Reform

Yey Reform also do video's which is good for me but also good for the company as the majority of online users look for videos rather than text content for information.
Also, using video is to advertise things is seven times more successful at generating leads when worked with conventional campaigns.
On the Reform News they have written about video and how it is more sucssessful on web then on print. "video offers an environment to educate your visitors without having to spend hours reading written content. They can just sit back and relax as the video plays to teach them what the business is and how your product works."
Reform are an independent creative agency based in Manchester.
I am very interested in editorial design and I discovered their website and it drew me in with their welcoming website and then I found out they were based in Manchester and then I looked at their work and alot of it I have previously seen and picked up.
They have won many awards including D&AD
